ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports Bucs OG Sua Opeta suffered a torn ACL in training camp.

Opeta signed a one-year deal with the Bucs in the offseason and was competing for a starting job at left guard. He made starts at both left and right guard for the Eagles in 2023. Opeta came into the league as a UDFA and carved out a role as a versatile backup for Philly. He will now miss the entirety of the 2024 season.

The Eagles promoted Opeta to the active roster from the practice squad Tuesday.

Opeta spent time with the Eagles in the offseason, and he'll now get a chance on the 53-man roster. The Weber State product will provide Philadelphia with depth on the offensive line, and he could play a role on special teams.
