Bills OT Tommy Doyle retired after four seasons in the NFL.
Doyle announced that this is sadly a medical retirement. Doyle suffered ACL tears in consecutive seasons, back in 2022 and 2023. He spent 2024 on the reserve/physically unable to perform list. Doyle notably caught a one-yard touchdown pass in the Bills’ 2021, 47-17 Wild Card Weekend win over the Patriots.

It’s a horrendous break for the 2021 fifth-rounder, as he was limited to one game by a torn ACL in 2022. His loss further thins the Bills’ already-questionable tackle depth.

Doyle saw his first action of the season in Week 3, appearing on 36 snaps at left tackle. Now, the second-year lineman will be sidelined for the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL in Sunday's loss. Doyle has served as added depth along the offensive line since entering the league as a fifth-rounder last season.
