Tyson Barrie (illness) should be available to play in Game 2 against Calgary on Friday night.
Barrie skipped the morning skate because he has been feeling a bit the under the weather, but it is believed that he will be fine to play. He has one goal, two assists, 13 shots and 11 blocks in eight games this postseason.
Tyson Barrie scored his fifth of the season Saturday.
Barrie also chipped in with his 25th assist, giving him 30 points in 53 games, a far cry from last season when he led all defensemen with 48 points in 56 games. Barrie has been hot of late as he is on a five-game points streak with two goals and eight points in the five games.
Tyson Barrie (upper body) has been taken off the injured reserve list.
That sets the stage for Barrie to return on Saturday. He has three goals and 23 points in 49 contests this season.
Tyson Barrie (upper body) was a full participant in Friday's practice and he could return to the lineup on Saturday night.
Barrie was paired with Philip Broberg during the session. Coach Jay Woodcroft hinted that the Oilers defender could play versus the Lightning. Barrie has sat out the past three games with an upper-body injury.
