Johnson managed to put in a goal against Kaapo Kahkonen with under five minutes remaining in the second period. That would be all she wrote for Chicago's offense on the evening. This was just Johnson's third goal in 23 games played this season. Neck and concussion concerns have taken a significant chunk out of the forward's season.

Johnson cut Calgary's lead to 2-1 in the first period, but the Hawks were never able to complete the comeback. The 31-year-old was an effective player during his days with the Lightning, but he's simply not able to reach that level anymore. He has two goals and four points in 20 games this season. 

Johnson and Kubalik have both been scratched for the past three games. They will replace Kirby Dach (shoulder sprain) and Philipp Kurashev up front. 

Johnson just returned to the lineup on Monday from concussion protocol and he will get the night off rather than play in both parts of the back-to-back. He has three points, 19 shots and 22 hits in 15 games this season.
