Cody Ceci scored his first of the playoffs in the Oilers 2-0 win in Game 7 over the Los Angeles Kings.
Ceci received the puck from Connor McDavid and his shot from the faceoff dot easily beat Jonathan Quick in the Kings cage. It was the opening goal and game winner for the Oilers who advance to the second round with the pivotal Game 7 win. It was only his second career playoff goal in 43 games, the first one coming as a Toronto Maple Leaf in 2020. It was a great series for Ceci as he has six points in the seven game series as well as going plus-seven.
Cody Ceci had three assists in Friday's 8-2 win over Los Angeles in Game 3.
Ceci had a hand in all three goals scored by Evander Kane in the contest. He was also credited with two shots, two hits and two blocks in 22:08 of ice time. Ceci didn't have a point in the first two games of the series and he had six points in 38 career playoff matches prior to Friday's outburst.
