Bobby Brink
Player News
Bobby Brink has undergone hip surgery to repair a torn labrum.
Brink is expected to need five months to recover, so he'll miss the first chunk of the season. It's an unfortunate setback for the 21-year-old, who had a fantastic campaign with the University of Denver in 2021-22 and then joined the Flyers, where he registered four assists in 10 games.
Bobby Brink won't participate in Philadelphia's development camp after he suffered a hip injury during the offseason.
Brink is slated to visit with a specialist in a few days. The Flyers expect to have a better understanding of the extent of the injury by the end of the week. Brink had four assists, 18 shots, and 15 hits in 10 games with Philadelphia last season after he turned pro in April.
Bobby Brink registered two assists in a 6-3 win against Montreal on Thursday.
That was Brink's first career multi-point game. The rookie has four helpers in six contests.
Bobby Brink registered an assist in his NHL debut on Tuesday.
It was about the only positive note in the Flyers' 9-2 loss to Washington on Tuesday. In addition to the assist, Brink had two shots, two hits, and two blocks in 14:27 minutes of ice time. He also had an even plus/minus despite the Flyers losing big.
