Thursday’s slates feature one sided affairs in TES vs TT, T1 vs FB, and DK vs AFS. There’s a suspiciously close match in FPX vs LNG too; a good mix of carries are ones to look out for on the slate, but projections are typically higher than expected going into the matches.

PrizePicks Prop Selections

Fredit BRION v T1

  • Hoya (FB) - Projected Fantasy Score: 10.5 - UNDER

Good stability on this one: combining Hoya’s low top lane power, alongside the role being predisposed to low KP%, LCK’s slow, controlled play style, T1’s strengths, and Canna’s laning power, I don’t see Hoya being capable of delivering on this projection. He’s rarely showing up against “decent” teams, only against the lower tier faces on the LCK: AFS, SB, et cetera. Canna should give this guy the whooping on Thursday, free of charge.

Damwon KIA v Afreeca Freecs

  • Fly (AFS) - Projected Fantasy Score: 10.5 - UNDER

Fly is one of the worst mid laners in the league, hands down. While Damwon KIA may not be in tip-top shape, they’re still the world champions and can bounce back at any moment. Their bottom lane is unlikely to be challenged by the Freecs and while Kiin may always make a resurgence; that’s not relevant to Fly’s performance. Dread is a decent jungler, but Canyon was nearly the best at MSI. I’ve got this one for Damwon, I can’t see Fly coming back for another year of professional play in the LCK.

Top Esports v ThunderTalk

  • JackeyLove (TES) - Projected Fantasy Score: 26.5 - UNDER

Don’t get me wrong, I think Top will absolutely stomp out ThunderTalk. My issue is with Jackeylove averaging over 13 kp per game, which just isn’t reasonable to me considering that the games will likely be over fast. I can easily see 10, 11- but 13 is an extremely high amount of kills in order to break this projection. I’m a big fan of Jackey, but it’s not as though TES is the most stable team ever; all it takes is for them to underestimate TT for this projection to hit rock bottom.
