Saturday’s Xfinity Series race yielded positive results for most of us. I was taking down the $24 SE contest heading into Stage 3, but a speeding penalty on pit road forced Josh Berry to drop from P3 to P20 but he clawed his way back up to P7 by the end of the race and he collected plenty of fastest laps along the way. Without the penalty, he could have won it but for the most part it came down to Ty Gibbs and John Hunter Nemechek. But I’m mostly happy with the profit. But even more so, I feel like I’ve finally grasped how to approach Richmond. I’ve struggled with this track for DFS historically so I’m hoping to get a profit out of Sunday’s race as well.

Sunday’s race will give us 280 dominator points to work with at a maximum, but with some laps being run under yellow, we’ll lose some fastest laps. With that said, we may not see as clean of a race as we saw Saturday with Xfinity. With the new car, and the issues we’ve seen with the tires, we’ll likely see this track take a toll on some cars. We saw eight cautions for 52 laps at Phoenix. With 400 laps for Sunday’s race, we could see more volume in terms of cautions.

We will need the dominator points to take down the GPP's on Sunday. Two-to-three dominator builds are the way to go, but I'm also throwing together some lineups together focusing on one dominator.

Be sure to check out all the offerings for Sunday’s race!
