Top Tier
Byron Buxton, MIN - I’m tripling down here on the Twins for today. I liked them in both my Wager Alarm pieces today and I like them in DFS as well. Buxton, specifically, has looked better lately and has really been sharp against lefties as well. He’s now homered in two straight games and three times over his last five games. Buxton is hitting .304 with a .385 wOBA against southpaws this year. His match-up against Kris Bubic is a doozy. Bubic has allowed 17 HR and a .354 wOBA vs. RHH this year and allows over TWO home runs per nine innings on the road this year.
Marcus Semien, TOR - What’s not to like about this guy right now? He’s hitting EVERYTHING and seemingly EVERYTHING is leaving the yard. He has six homers over his last 10 games and now has 39 on the year. He gets to hit in Baltimore, which is the creme de la creme of hitting parks not named Coors Field. Number 40 is coming and it’s coming on Sunday.
Mid Tier
Bryan Reynolds, PIT - Did Corbin go seven innings last time out? Yeah, he did. He also allowed 11 hits over those seven innings. Righties have crushed Corbin all season long, as he’s allowed .303 AVG, .920 OPS, and a .388 wOBA. Reynolds has killed lefties this year himself, batting .333 with a .390 wOBA. His price point is really nice on this slate and I like him in all formats too.
Evan Longoria, SFG - Longoria has hit lefties very well this season and comes into this game scorching hot. He has nine runs batted in over his last four contests and has put up double-digit FP in five straight games on FanDuel. Longoria has hit lefties HARD this year, batting .358 with a .486 wOBA. Wrigley is a really nice hitters park, Longoria is a great cash play.
Value Tier
Austin Hays, BAL - Hays homered twice on Saturday, has now hit four over his last 10 games and has hit over .300 with an OPS over 1.000 over that span. Hays is hitting .302 with a .377 wOBA himself against southpaws and has belted nine home runs against them as well. Hays has a robust .850 OPS at home this year. Hays is viable in ALL formats at this price point.
