Tonight’s main slate has plenty of attractive offenses to stack, as well as some singular plays that you can use to pack your lineup. I found a lot of value on the offensive side of the ball this evening, so be sure to check out the playbook and pitching coach to help you with your pitcher spot(s). Without further ado, let’s dive in and take a look at my favorite value bats for tonight’s main slate on FanDuel, DraftKings and Yahoo!

All Sites

Carlos Santana, 1B KC ($2,800 FD/$2,900 DK/$11 Yahoo) - Baltimore’s Alexander Wells has been abused by right-handed hitters this year, to the tune of a .393 batting average and .460 wOBA! Santana has a .277 batting average against southpaws in 2021, and while he happens to be hitting just .227 in September, he has hit safely in all but two games this month. A Kansas City stack is firmly on the table today, and Santana is a cheap part of it.

Max Schrock, 2B CIN ($2,000 FD/$2,300 DK/$10 Yahoo) - Chicago’s Adrian Sampson has allowed lefties to hit .286 with a .376 wOBA this season and all Schrock has done is rock right-handed pitching. Schrock has a .358 batting average and .424 wOBA versus right-handers this season, and when Cincy is on the road, Schrock has a .423 batting average and 1.137 OPS! He has six hits in his last 14 at-bats, so he’s seeing the ball well and on the best side of his splits.

Yahoo!

Andrew McCutchen, OF PHI ($15) - McCutchen is 7-for-11 with two home runs in his career against Eric Lauer and he’s been excellent against southpaws in 2021. He’s struggled immensely against right-handers, posting a .180 batting average this year, but against lefties, he’s hitting .307 with a 1.090 OPS! He’s hitting .304 over the past week, and he has a 1.216 OPS against Milwaukee pitching this year.

Ryan McMahon, 2B/3B COL ($11) - McMahon is 5-for-11 with a home run his career against Logan Webb, and it’s been left-handed hitters that have gotten to Webb this year, at least more so than right-handers. McMahon has a .266 batting average and .350 wOBA against righties this season, and of course, his home OPS (.858) is far better than his mark on the road (.694).

DraftKings

Tyler Naquin, OF CIN ($2,900) - When a righty is on the mound against the Reds, just throw Naquin in your lineup. He’s hitting .286 with an .868 OPS against righties this year, and when he’s on the road, he’s hit .273 with a .788 OPS. Over the last two weeks, he’s hitting .324 with a .908 OPS, and Chicago right-hander Adrian Sampson has allowed lefties to hit .286 with a .376 wOBA this season.

Lane Thomas, OF WAS ($2,800) - Max Fried hasn’t really been bad against right-handed hitters this year, but Thomas has crushed lefties. In 34 at-bats against southpaws this year, Thomas is hitting .441 with a 1.195 OPS! Furthermore, he’s hitting .367 over the last week, and so far in September, he’s hitting .385 with a 1.124 OPS! I’m not looking to stack Washington hitters, but I do like Thomas at the top of the order.

FanDuel

Brandon Crawford, SS SF ($3,300) - Another BvP play here! Crawford is 5-for-9 with a home run against Chi Chi González, and Crawford has a .303 batting average against right-handed pitchers in 2021. Gonzalez has a 5.72 ERA in 50.1 innings at home this season, and Crawford has a 1.226 OPS against Colorado pitching in 2021. In nine at-bats this year at Coors Field, Crawford is 4-for-9 with two home runs and a 1.778 OPS.

Josh Harrison, 2B/3B OAK ($2,900) - Chicago’s Jimmy Lambert has allowed a .421 batting average and .528 wOBA to right-handed hitters this year, and all Harrison has done is hit righties at a .288 clip in 2021. Furthermore, he’s sporting a .357 batting average and .844 OPS over the last week, and he is a cheap part of an Oakland stack tonight.
